Seffah…S’fah…? June 9, 2011

It’s hard to try to put Arabic words into English letters…
“S’fah” is one of our favorite Moroccan dishes. I think we posted about it last year sometime, when our previous housekeeper made it for us once. But another post dedicated to this dish is by no way overdoing it. It’s delicious. And we have our current housekeeper make it for us every couple weeks. ๐Ÿ™‚

It’s a sweet dish, made with chicken and noodles and almonds and raisins and lots of other good things, and we had it last two weeks ago when our friend Gwyn was here for a visit. (I have lots of other pictures of Gwyn’s visit that I’d like to post, but wordpress won’t let me create a slideshow right now, so we’re waiting on those…) For now, you can see the dish (with cinnamon and powdered sugar on top), and at least Raelyn enjoying her share of it.

Raelyn going to town on the seffah...

Adorable? I think so ๐Ÿ™‚

So good!!
